Mandala #43 — Tc: Tecnecio (Technetium)

Element 43 · Tc · Tecnecio
Radioactive pale green glow
The first artificially created element — all isotopes radioactive, yet technetium-99m saves lives daily in medical imaging.

Technetium was the first element created artificially (1937, by bombarding molybdenum with deuterons). It has no stable isotopes — every atom is radioactive. Yet technetium-99m is the most widely used radioactive tracer in nuclear medicine, with 40 million procedures annually.

50 Mandalas de Elementos Químicos — a sacred geometry digital art series where science and beauty converge. Each mandala's palette, pattern, and structure is inspired by the element's atomic character, crystal structure, reactivity, and visual identity.
