The $8 in-store Sam's Club deal (June 17–26, physical locations only) is the lowest price since 2022 and the sharpest membership entry point in years. BJ's Club+ at $120/yr earns 2% rewards on most purchases and adds 5¢/gal off gas. The Executive upgrade at Costco ($130/yr) earns 2% on warehouse purchases, capped at $1,250/yr. At both chains, the upgrade pays for itself if you spend roughly $3,000+/yr in-store. The BJ's $14–$15 base membership via StackSocial (link through MarketWatch) is a near-free trial for anyone on the East Coast who's curious but hasn't committed. 3
