Cadmium yellow and orange-red
The artist's vivid palette — cadmium sulfide gives yellow, cadmium selenide gives red, but cadmium is toxic.
Cadmium yellow and cadmium red are among the most intense artist pigments — used by Monet and Van Gogh. Cadmium sulfide is yellow; cadmium selenide is red-orange. But cadmium is toxic, accumulating in kidneys. Ni-Cd batteries contain cadmium. Cadmium-telluride thin films make efficient solar cells.
50 Mandalas de Elementos Químicos — a sacred geometry digital art series where science and beauty converge. Each mandala's palette, pattern, and structure is inspired by the element's atomic character, crystal structure, reactivity, and visual identity.
